@MarkOrbit@aamnakx depends on the phone model, but default, is it still goes off, its for emergencies, you have to deliberately opt out of the alerts on most phones.
@e_kaspersky Brave Shields block third-party trackers/ads by default (EasyList + more). The compromised Adform script from https://t.co/aCQhetMl1x never loads, so the clipboard crypto-stealer can’t run. Strong defense against this exact type of ad-tech supply-chain attack.
@AvonandsomerRob In the uk, yes, its legal, yes its required, yes its routine, if a supermarket fails a proxy purchase test, the fines start at £10,000 and go up, per event. Yes adults should not buy kids booze, but they do, hence proxy checks.
@jamie247 Don't think. If you think, don't speak. If you speak, don't write. If you write, don't sign. If you sign, don't be surprised. Or to put it another way, don't do anything on a computer you can't explain in a police station basement, in 20 years time.
@brick_turpin an easy way to tell build quality, from the outside of a block of flats, look at where the water main stop cocks are, if they are neatly laid out, in the same place, its a sign of good planning and quality build, if they are all over the place, run.
@macpheb234@stuey_beef It would also be easy, and trivial do do. Just arrange with the larger supermarkets to do the return part, ie people bring there old bottles and tins back, and get a voucher for in store goods, and the whole thing is sent back to the manufacturer, via the warehouse.
