Nandil has always made @himantabiswa and me proud in a way any parent dreams of. From scoring 95% in both his Class 10 and 12 board exams, to becoming the first-ever school captain from the Northeast at The Doon School, to securing an All India Rank of 40 in CLAT and joining the National Law University in Bengaluru.

And this Friday (5th December), he added another milestone by completing the Ironman 70.3 in Bahrain. This is an endurance triathlon with a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km cycle and a 21.1 km run, all done in one continuous effort. He finished it in 6 hours and 48 minutes, after just 3 to 4 months of preparation.

What makes this achievement even more special is that he trained for it while studying at the National Law University in Bengaluru, a place known for its demanding academic schedule and strict attendance rules.

He now dreams of completing a full Ironman — a 3.8 km swim, 180 km cycle and a 42.2 km run — before he graduates next May. Sending him all our love, strength and blessings as he continues to chase his goals.
