Our children are being stolen. Between Jan 2025–Mar 2026, Kenya recorded 10,581 child protection cases,1,952 abductions, 173 trafficking cases. That is 23 children a day.

Last week in Githurai, a 2-year-old was kidnapped by a teenager sent to steal a child for a phone. In Juja, residents shut down the Thika Superhighway after 4 children vanished in two weeks. In Central Kenya, 372 violence-against-children incidents in under a year. This is a national emergency.

The Penal Code provides for life imprisonment for kidnappers. I want to see DCI and DPP match that seriousness with urgent investigations and full prosecutions, not just press releases.

To every Kenyan, watch the children around you. Speak up and report because if we do not protect our children, we have failed at the most fundamental duty of a society. Our children are not a footnote. They are our future.

Why is the OCS drinking with a gun????

The OCS of Villa Police Station, Chief Inspector John Ruto, and PC Peter Kiprotich Ruto of Kapsaos Police Post have been arrested following a chaotic shooting incident in Uasin Gishu County.

The two officers opened fire inside a local club after a disagreement with a waitress. Members of the public confronted and assaulted the officers before they were arrested and taken into custody at Eldoret Police Station.

Police recovered Ksh 673,000 in cash from the officers, alongside foreign currencies including 15 US dollars, 5 Euros, and 10 Polish Zloty. Authorities also seized a Ceska pistol loaded with 14 rounds of ammunition and recovered one spent cartridge from the scene.

I was sexually assaulted in a bus on the 17th April 2026 going to the market by a police man off duty seated next to me, he kept touching my breast and I defended my self by slapping him and this man denied it a good thing I recorded the incident.

At first I thought it was a mistake then I realized it wasn’t on alerting my friend of the situation this man bunched her on her face and kept fighting us.

Most of the men there were not even helping, they kept making fun of the situation, saying ohh I’m a fine girl and he likes me that is why as if that is supposed to be funny, anyways I’m not letting this one go it took me years to tell my self that I didn’t deserve to be raped it took me sleepless nights and constant reminders for another man to come and remind me of my struggle and think he can just walk free. I’m going to make sure I’m his last prey.

Last night, Shamim Mafi, 44, of Woodland Hills, was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport for trafficking arms on behalf of the government of Iran. She is charged with a violation of 50 U.S.C. § 1705 for brokering the sale of drones, bombs, bomb fuses, and millions of rounds of ammunition manufactured by Iran and sold to Sudan.

If convicted, she faces a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison.

Mafi is an Iranian national who became a lawful permanent resident of the United States in 2016.

She is expected to make her initial appearance on Monday afternoon in U.S. District Court in downtown L.A. She is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
