@CISAgov Note: the concept of "social maturity " in cybersecurity is built on 5 years of DHS-funded research and also guided assessments developed for perceptions of cohesion between team, units, departments, and organizations--such as between IT and OT.

@CISAgov It can be helpful to assess the social maturity of the organization and relationship between IT and OT personnel. At a colloquial level, a 1-to-5 assessment where 1 is "can't be in the same room and get along," 3 is "can talk to each other," and 5 is "very open to collaboration."

#teamwork is a series of dynamic actions and decisions amongst a collective with a shared goal. This is why most teams struggle. The emphasis is on togetherness at the expense of #connection. The dynamism of complex problem solving requires a connection between the team members.
