Thank you, @BoyGeorge, for your moral courage and for the song “We Will Dance Again” in honor of the victims of the Nova massacre. Above all, thank for saying clearly and unequivocally: “I stand with the Jews.”

You did this while much of the entertainment industry was ignoring Jewish victims, excusing Hamas or openly embracing Jew hatred…And you paid a price for it. You were scheduled to play King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar at the London Palladium from August 3–15, but left the production after the backlash and threats of protests. You also ended your relationship with Tony Pontius, who had run your BGP record label for years, after he said he wanted nothing to do with the song. You were told to “pipe down.” You were attacked by other musicians and people in your own professional circle. You still refused to back down or abandon the song.

Nobody ever said doing the right thing would be easy. But those who have the courage to do what’s right are ultimately the ones history rewards and remembers.

Thank you for standing with the Jewish people even when it actually cost you something. We will dance again, and we will also remember who stood beside us. ❤️ 🤝

A group of North Carolinians REFUSED to give Muslims a permit to demolish a residential home and build a 3,000 square foot mosque just outside of Charlotte NC

"Arafath Mohammad" did not inform any neighbors of his plan to build a mosque when he purchased the home.

Residents then STORMED the council hearing saying:

“Islam is not a religion, it’s a takeover,” said a Lancaster County resident opposed to the project.

“We do not want Sharia law in this area,” said another Lancaster County resident.

After 2 HOURS of residents voicing their opposition, the council unanimously denied the permit.

There will not be a mosque in the residential neighborhood.

Music has always had the power to heal, to remember, and to unite. This week, Boy George used his voice to do exactly that, and it cost him a stage role.

Days after releasing "We Will Dance Again" (עוד נרקוד), a tribute to the victims and survivors of the Nova Music Festival massacre, Boy George's manager, Paul Kemsley, announced that George would no longer appear in the West End revival of Jesus Christ Superstar, where he'd been set to play King Herod at the London Palladium beginning August 3.

His Hebrew-titled song has become a rallying cry of resilience, embraced by Nova survivors and former hostages alike. But in the entertainment world, it was met with backlash instead of solidarity, and days later, his manager pulled him from the production.

At a moment when so much of the entertainment industry has chosen silence, Boy George chose to stand with victims of terrorism and honor their memory.
