@OliDeliber Tip of the iceberg for this guy. Channel rewards that make his model fart + he does it way too much to just be an occasional bit. He regularly talks to minors and tries justifying it, plus a lot of other things others have explained better. Watch a video about him, it’s weird.
@ThorLoyi@Sage_VALE_ I can agree with you here. Nothing’s ever perfect, but Mark did an amazing job for his first theatrical film, especially for having very limited lore to work with and with it being mostly independent.
@Revolve_OW@Sage_VALE_ Majority of critics claimed they didn’t understand what was going on.. that’s literally Cosmic horror. A cosmic horror film isn’t going to hold your hand and give you time to breathe. It’s going to continue ramping up, and it’s up to the viewer to make their own judgements.
@cineworld Oh I absolutely loved it. It’s a cosmic/psychological horror, and I was all there for the fact that we as the viewer weren’t given all the information, it always left us piecing things together. 💙
Also, loved the atmosphere of Cineworld, sounds silly but it FELT like a cinema.
Damn, y’all really can’t watch a horror film without jump scares every 5 seconds? The attention span of a toddler and the memory of a goldfish, I swear.
It’s clear Mark Fischbach, AKA Markiplier, really loves Iron Lung, but his sluggish movie adaption of the game feels interminable rather than serving as a compelling interpretation of this world.

@JonnyBlox Like.. it’s meant to be slow, the audio is meant to be distorted, it’s not meant to give you everything, you’re meant to be a bit confused etc etc. it shows the descent into literal madness where you can’t trust what you see or hear. The critic are just hating to be contrarians.
@JonnyBlox They’re going into this with no knowledge of the material (not like there’s much more than what was shown in the film) and then blaming the film for being slow? Their minds are rotted to think that if a horror movie doesn’t have a jump scare every 5 seconds then it’s boring.
@politicswarblog@Pirat_Nation My issue with it is the constant pop up being like ‘you don’t have enough storage on your One drive account, upgrade now!’ When it tries saving my whole damn pc and then has every file have the annoying red x.
@DiscussingFilm Do we know the locations this'll be in? Is it going to be in strictly American theaters? Would there be other ways of watching if say we don't have a theater showing it?
@NikTek @ChrisZanar Apparently it took like 12+ years to make and every year or two they’d get a new manager that had a new idea, would scrap most of the work, then start making it with ‘their own vision’
It was originally meant to be a multiplayer Black Flag..
Plus they were legally required.
