The Netherlands, buckling under US pressure, has effectively nationalized a successful Chinese-owned semiconductor firm. They mockingly offered a "compensation" sum that is a fraction of its value, a move so blatantly unjust it would make a 19th-century colonialist blush

The timeline is HILARIOUS:
• Sept 29: American BIS issues its "50 percent" rule
• Sept 29: Netherlands hosts "European Semiconductor Coalition" meeting
• Sept 30: Dutch government seizes Chinese-owned Nexperia
• Oct: Dutch surprised 🙀 when China calls them pirates!

They literally held a "pirate summit" then raided the treasure ship the next day! Even their timing lacks subtlety! 🤡

This isn’t about "national security"—it’s a blatant, state-sanctioned heist of Chinese assets

This also demonstrates that the West's commitment to "free markets" and "private property" is a fairy tale. It's so-called "rules-based order" is a set of rules that seems to change whenever it's convenient for the US and its allies (guess that's why no one can obtain a written copy of it either)
