As Nigeria counts down to 2027, my team and I have spent the last five months building something big.
It’s called Power and Plunder — a series that takes you through the entire history of Nigeria’s leadership.
From Tafawa Balewa in 1960 to the current administration, we’re doing deep dives on every single leader who has occupied that office. How they governed. What they built. What they destroyed. And how, for better or worse, each one shaped the course of this country.
First episode drops Wednesday, May 6th. Watch this space.
For weeks, i’ve seen this face but i ignored due to the fact that he was a core supporter of APC government in kogi state, i thought it was a family matter .
The reported arrest and continued detention of Mr. Faruk Onimisi, allegedly carried out by officials of the Kogi State Government and the Accountant General’s office, raises serious concerns.
No citizen should be held incommunicado, denied access to family and legal representation. If there are allegations against him, due process must prevail , charge him to court and let justice take its course transparently.
Beyond politics are family waiting, children asking questions, and loved ones living in uncertainty. Think about his mother and wife.
Onono Onimisi has be calling the public to come to the aid of the family for weeks now.
Democracy is tested not by how we treat supporters, but by how faithfully we uphold the rule of law for everyone.
#JusticeForFarukOnimisi
The Nigerian Army @HQNigerianArmy has no legal basis to arrest and detain civilians and then secretly transfer them to another agency. Any such action violates due process and undermines the rule of law. The officer or officers responsible for carrying out such an unlawful arrest must be identified and held accountable under the law.
Likewise, any personnel within the lawless @OfficialDSSNG or @PoliceNG who facilitated or attempted to conceal such actions must also be investigated and sanctioned accordingly.
No institution or individual should operate above the law, and accountability must be enforced across all security agencies.
CLARIFICATION ON THE ARREST OF JUSTICE MARK CHIDIEBERE (JUSTICE CRACK)
The attention of the Nigerian Army was drawn to the complaint made by some soldiers regarding their feeding and other matters relating to their welfare as posted on social media by a blogger/social media influencer, Justice Mark Chidiebere (Justice Crack).
While the matter is being investigated for breach of the Armed Forces’ Social Media Policy and an attempt to misinform the public, preliminary report reveals that the soldiers discussed wide range of issues with Justice Chidiebere who seemed to be inciting soldiers to create discontent within the system. An example was a chat bothering on subversion which Chidiebere had with the soldiers. It is important to state that a situation where civilians cultivate vulnerable personnel towards acts of subversion has far-reaching implications on discipline and national security.
Hence, Justice Chidiebere was picked by the Nigerian Army alongside the soldiers for investigation. While the soldiers remain in own custody, Chidiebere has been handed over to the relevant civil authorities for further investigation and possible prosecution.
The Nigerian Army remains committed to the rule of law and will continue to collaborate with relevant agencies to ensure justice is served. We will continue to act within the ambits of the law in safeguarding our sovereignty.

@ziter001@Owerrilord Peter Obi is a rare breed
Nigeria and indeed Africa may never have another Peter Obi
He is completely different
He conquered the world a long time ago
This is NOT about some “Emilokan” entitlement type of shit…
This is about the MOST competent, incorruptible, and QUALIFIED presidential candidate Nigeria has.
No “Rewarding his Sacrifice” talk.
He ticks EVERY single box — character, competence, capacity.
Nigeria can't afford to miss it once more, there’s an urgent need to ensure the BEST of the BEST leads us. Period. 🇳🇬
@MikeArnoldTruth@BwalaBello1 We are not in an uncivilised society without rules and laws, how can a fellow citizen put a bounty on another because of religious beliefs!?
It is not right, any Muslim that supports this barbaric act is worse than an infidel
There's an innocent man in Nigeria right now with two million naira on his head for preaching the gospel.
His name is Apostle Garba Sunshine Emmanuel. Pastor in Kaduna. Wife. Three daughters.
He ran a 450-member church called Kingdom Impact in a community called Angwan Romi. In 2015 the Lord told him to shut it down and go preach to Muslims. He obeyed. Took it to TikTok and Facebook, where the Muslims were. Used the Quran to point them to Jesus.
For that, a northern imam put a one-million-naira bounty on his head. Christians demanded the imam's arrest. So the imam doubled the bounty to two million — and dared the DSS to come pick him up.
The DSS hasn't moved. The imam walks free. Preaches Friday. Eats lunch. Sleeps in his own bed.
Apostle Emmanuel doesn't.
Last November a Muslim mob came for him. Police got there in time. A month ago they burned his house down. His wife and children are in hiding. He hasn't seen them in three weeks. The police, the soldiers, the DSS — by his own account, every one of them is working for the Muslims who want him dead.
Last week he reached out to me. The first thing he told me was simple: "I am the one that the whole Muslim in Nigeria are looking to kill."
Then he posted a reel: “If you kill me, please crucify me — so the world can see what you really are.”
He posted that to the men hunting him.
That is not a man begging for his life. That is a man who already gave it.
This is Nigeria. Not 1804. Not 2014. This week. A pastor preaching Jesus gets a two-million-naira price on his head, put there by an imam who walks free, told to his face by the pastor himself: crucify me.
Pray for Apostle Garba Sunshine Emmanuel. Pray for his wife. Pray for his three little girls.
And the imam who doubled the bounty?
Name him. Arrest him. Or stop pretending Nigeria has a government.
TO US OFFICIALS: Countless Nigerians are in danger from the brutal Tinubu regime and his Islamist overlords. They need ASYLUM urgently. Please help.
#EarthShaker.
@soggy4love@DrFolaseye@OK2027movement Eyaaa.... You must have been blind or I guess you have been out of network to see the Kwankwasiya movement.... It's too late to court him... No amount can buy him....
@gabriel_bolatit@DrFolaseye@OK2027movement The fear of PO to the APC is palpable.... You can always feel the pulse in their veins and it's a sight to always behold 😂😂😂
I've never seen anyone or group get this jittery at the mention or motion of Peter Obi
Association of Professional Criminals your nemesis is here...
Yes, the press statement from INEC is identical—word for word, including formatting, signature, and date—to the one released earlier by Dada Olusegun, Special Assistant to President Tinubu on social media. Reports confirm he posted it about 23 hours before INEC's official account did. INEC's rebuttal denies copying and calls the Gazette coverage misleading, but the statements match exactly.
Also, Peter Obi is not a “lesser evil”.
I am again begging us all to have moral clarity.
The man who said if anyone finds N5 that he embezzled should come forward and he’d leave the race:
That man is not a “lesser evil” I am begging you guys.
The man who has donated more money to education and health from his own purse more than the CapEx for health by the government is not a “lesser evil”.
The man who left no debt but actual surplus in the treasury of the state he governed is not a “lesser evil”.
The man who has successfully without any corruption led as:
Chairman of Fidelity Bank Plc
Director of Fidelity Bank Plc
Chairman of Next International Nigeria Ltd
Chairman of Guardian Express Mortgage Bank Ltd
Chairman of Future View Securities Ltd
Chairman of Paymaster Nigeria Ltd
Chairman of Chams Nigeria Plc
Director of Chams Nigeria Plc
Director of Data Corp Ltd
Director of Card Centre Plc
Independent Non-Executive Director of Nigeria LNG Ltd:
Is not a “lesser evil”.
The man who went to Egypt to study how to make power constant for you is not a lesser evil.
The man who said he wouldn’t tax you unless he has prospered you isn’t a lesser evil.
The “lesser evil” bifurcation came when we wanted to choose between a corrupt incompetent Buhari and a corrupt incompetent Atiku.
I don’t really like politics Twitter. But I’m saying this so we all have moral clarity.
I am begging us all. Please, let’s dump these contrarian virtue signaling.
I am begging.
We are up against vicious people. These are the people who have witnessed around 5 generals and colonels die and nothing is moving them.
I am begging you all, please.
Morayo : Let’s talk about your marriage , the divorce , when the divorce happened with your ex , you were both quiet, we didn’t hear from both of you , you didn’t tel us anything , what would you say that experience has taught you or formed who you become today?
Ireti Doyle : First of all , you didn’t hear anything because it was none of your business , the only people you owe any explanation if all are those small family and friends that gathered on day one , you see this larger audience that you are performing for , they do not care👇🏾
Hello, IGP @TunjiDisu1, I want you to meet your police officer, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Princess Nkeiruka Nwode, popularly known as “Ruka.”
CSP Nwode allegedly connived with others within the judiciary to imprison whistleblower Nnamdi Emeh after he exposed what he described as a police-linked organ-harvesting ring.
Today, Nnamdi Emeh is rotting away in prison in Awka because certain bad eggs within the Nigeria Police Force @policeng aided by your predecessor, Kayode Egbetokun, had their way.
This injustice must end.
Your office must immediately discontinue this sham prosecution and instead investigate, arrest, and prosecute the once-powerful police officers and collaborators involved in this alleged crime.
Justice must prevail without delay.
