Can we talk about how the "God" titles in Mushoku Tensei don't actually mean they're gods?

Take Gal Farion.

He's the Sword God. One of the strongest swordsmen alive.

But do you seriously think he's on the same level as Orsted, the Dragon God?

Hell nah.

And that's the thing.

"God" in titles like Sword God, North God and Water God is basically the highest rank someone can reach in that sword style. It doesn't mean they've become an actual deity.

And Mushoku Tensei actually has a history of beings who were treated as genuine gods, which makes the distinction even more important.

So Gal Farion being called the Sword God doesn't put him anywhere near Orsted just because they both have "God" in their titles.

He's the Sword God because of his mastery of the Sword God style.

Orsted is the Dragon God because he's literally a Dragon God.

There's a huge difference between their powers.
