VALUE FOR VALUE

A brand ambassador brings noticeable value to a partnership, while the brand compensates them for that value.

This value can come in various forms - a large social media following, a dedicated fanbase (especially within the brand's target audience), or the ability to genuinely hawk the brand on their head - taking ownership.

In my years of experience in marketing, I've found that celebrities can be difficult to work with due to their busy schedules, and some even make life hard intentionally for the brands that are paying them (I will talk about this in a separate post).
However, when a brand finds the right celebrity - someone who truly embraces the brand as their own and is willing to put in the hard work—brands will gravitate towards them, no matter their fee.
