I just want to be among those fighting for the upliftment of the world. For me, success isn't about becoming greedily rich. It is more about adding values to the society with all I have. Leaving a lasting positive impact in the world.
10 years from now, this thread will be full of people who made their dreams happen.
Drop a note for your future self. What would they be proud you did?
@AlbicelesteTalk You can put Messi in this Portugal team and see how he will be loved and admired. He will bring the best out of everyone. Respect is earned, you don’t beg or buy it.
O tratamento que Lionel Messi recebe dos seus companheiros na Argentina é o culminar de todo o bom companheirismo, liderança e de ser um excelente colega de equipa.
E isto não se compra, conquista-se.
Leandro Paredes: "Lifting Messi after the game? We wanted to embrace him and make him feel that we’ll stay by his side until the very end. For us, having him with us is an enormous added value.
"We also play for him, because we don’t want the day to come when this is his last match with us.” @TNTSportsAR
Bélgica no le pudo ganar a Egipto y está en Cuartos.
España no le pudo ganar a Cabo Verde y está en Cuartos.
Argentina le ganó a los dos, y está en Cuartos.
Pero el que tiene la llave fácil es Argentina.
And one more thing I want to say, don’t take for granted what this team has done and the memories they’ve given us over the last five years.
I think it’s fair to say this is one of the greatest national teams in football history, and without a doubt the greatest in Argentina’s history. Just look at everything they’ve achieved, the number of titles they’ve won, and the way they leave absolutely everything on the pitch in every single match.
Ever since the 2021 Copa América, these players and this coaching staff have given the fans unforgettable memories. Yes, there have been difficult moments and plenty of suffering too, but that’s exactly what makes this team so special, they simply never give up.
So enjoy every moment while it lasts, because none of us truly knows how much longer this incredible era will continue ❤️🇦🇷
Banter aside, whatever side of anything you find yourself on in life, be on the Messi side.
Win.
Leave the conjectures and the explanations to the losers.
Or be the loser. Life will always avail you choices.
I don’t even dislike him as a player as much as I dislike like him as a person.
He’s arrogant, narcissistic, downplays the achievements of others, talks too much, always makes things about himself, a liar, delusional, thinks he’s the best when he’s not.
You miss a penalty with your team already trailing, then watch them concede a second goal moments later. The stadium goes silent, the fans lose hope, and everyone writes you off. Most players would disappear mentally after that.
Not Lionel Messi.
At 39 years old, after all the criticism about his mentality throughout his career, he responded in the only way he knows how.
Football is like a movie—you should never celebrate before the final whistle.
At halftime, Ronaldo fans and Messi haters came out in full force. “Finished.” “FIFA boy.” “Flop.” Then Egypt made it 2–0, and X was flooded with posts mocking Messi, as if they had forgotten he already settled every debate in 2022 and had nothing left to prove.
Then came the plot twist.
Messi assisted Romero to make it 2–1. Minutes later, he produced a breathtaking equalizer for 2–2. Finally, Lisandro Martínez set up Enzo Fernández for the winner. From 2–0 down to 3–2. A remarkable remontada.
The villains always celebrate too early.
And somehow, in every football story, Lionel Messi is always the hero. 🐐🇦🇷
If Portugal finished 1st in their group and didn’t struggle against DR Congo and Colombia they would’ve faced Ghana and Switzerland instead of Croatia and Spain.
Stop complaining about easier draws and “rigging” when you’re just trash.
I am personally no longer partaking in these debates, I understand that after a while your brain cannot compute how a 39 year old footballer is playing the way he’s playing, I get it, you have to throw your logic out and make conspiracy theories to be sane.
I understand it.
Enzo Fernández gets emotional talking about Leo Messi:
"Seeing Leo, who is ultimately our greatest example.. sorry, I'm getting emotional here... how he never gives up, how he always moves forward... he is a true example for us.
"Even with adversity, he always demonstrates that it's possible to keep going and today is a huge reward for that.
"We knew it was way too early to go home, and we are going to keep fighting until the very end."

Watching Lionel Messi now brings me so much peace because it genuinely does not matter what happens, in 2022 I would have been panicking now I’m just chilling 😂
🚨 Leo Messi: "I felt that at an important moment, I let my teammates down because of the penalty I missed and the way I took it.
"But thankfully once again, God had something special prepared for me in the end.
"I'm very happy."
