@_fels1 Huu ujinga wa generalizing hamjaacha it's particular areas not an entire county ile umaskini pia nliona a certain village in Siaya not to mention what I saw somewhere in Banana, Kiambaa, Kiambu can't compare it to our village in Kilifi.
If you are in Mombasa, Mtwapa, Kilifi, Kikambala, or Takaungu today and you keep hearing a strange high-pitched plane making endless circles, relax. Nothing suspicious is happening.
We can reveal that calibration works are currently underway at Moi International Airport.
The aircraft in question is ENF01, an Italian Piaggio P.180 Avanti operated by ENAV. We tracked it back in 2022 in Italy, back then.
Its job is to recalibrate and test:
- ILS landing systems
- airport radio communication systems
- radar equipment
- Instrument approach systems used by aircraft landing in Mombasa
That is why it keeps making repeated loops over the Coast.
And yes, the reason it sounds so unusual is that the P.180 Avanti has rear-facing propellers that produce that very high-pitched sound.
So if you see it multiple times today over the Coast, now you know.

Look at the people five years ahead of you in your current career. If you don't like what you see in their eyes, their health, or their families, you are looking at your own future.
