Tafadzwa Matanhuse accused President Mnangagwa and tenderpreneur Wicknell Chivhayo of being responsible for destroying vendor stalls in Chiredzi and throwing tens of vulnerable families into possible starvation. He described Mnangagwa and Chivhayo as dogs, selfish people who are not concerned about the poor and challenged them to kill him if they so wish. He said it is ridiculous that these two donate expensive cars to the rich when the poor are starving. He said Mnangagwa is not going to care anymore about the people after getting 2 years term extension from Parliament. Tafadzwa speaks for the silent majority because what he says is what is on every Zimbabwean's lips. ZRP has been looking for Tafadzwa. He was arrested yesterday and charged.

WATCH | Tafadzwa Matanhuse from Chiredzi is expected to appear in court this morning. Police issued a warrant for his arrest after a video surfaced in which he passionately expressed his frustration over the destruction of vendors’ stalls by the Chiredzi Town Council.

After learning that the police were looking for him, Tafadzwa voluntarily handed himself over yesterday. He was accompanied by his legal representative, Martin Mureri.

Police have charged Tafadzwa with inciting public violence. The charge is linked to statements he made following the demolition of the vendors’ stalls, an action that affected the livelihoods of many people who depend on informal trading to support their families.
