Mom who had no idea about Roblox’s parental controls — or the adult content lurking in the game — took to the internet to blow the whistle. She exposed not only the vile in‑game material but also predators engaging in inappropriate conversations with underage children.

Roblox is officially recommended for ages 13 and up, yet it’s wildly popular among much younger kids.

As I did more digging, I learned that the company behind Roblox is facing multiple lawsuits accusing it of failing to protect young users. One lawsuit claims the platform “provides a hunting ground for child‑s*x predators,” citing the case of their 13‑year‑old client who was groomed online by a 37‑year‑old “super predator” before being kidnapped. The man now faces four counts of aggravated statutory r*pe in Tennessee and is awaiting additional charges in Iowa.

Coming from the music business, there’s always strings. Somebody wants your publishing, your masters, your touring, even your name, image, and likeness. So when I stepped into tech, I brought that music industry mindset with me.
