@ElliottVenczel I think instead of banning addons, Blizzard should take a note from games like Factorio:

- In-game hub for addons
- Categorize by features: combat, UI, RP, etc.
- Disable certain high-level achieves with combat addons enabled or special addon-less achieves

Addons have been part of WoW since day 1 and there are a lot of people who derive great enjoyment out of customizing their UI. For some it's a minigame in and of itself. For others it enables new ways to play the game.

Hard disagree on addons. Instead, they should get first-class support like games like Factorio provide:
- well-documented API
- official addon portal with support for in-game download links (helps new players)
- addon-free/limited achievements

After seeing the simplicity of Plunderstorm, @Asmongold believes he has come up with a shortlist on how to 'fix WoW'.

He goes on to suggest that limiting 10 spells (or less) for each class, removing addons entirely and bringing back 40 man raids would contribute to a better World of Warcraft.

I think Blizzard got rid of the authenticator because it's harder to support than the app.

@Warcraft Only just starting but getting a wand as a caster, specifically a priest. Normally the first thing I do at lvl 5 is get a Lesser Magic Wand but I'll probably be closer to 10 before I get it farming all this cloth to craft and DE.
