Time lapse footage from the GoPro of a large tornado earlier today just west of De Soto, Missouri. It had some pretty violent motion as it was starting to tornado!

@NWSStLouis@Stormchaser_TS Here's my view of the tornado with my exact location in the radar screenshot at approx. 7:12pm. I was on hwy 21 looking north. It lofted numerous, very large tree branches moments before it crossed hwy 21, as seen at the end of the video.
@BrianAllenWX@NickKrasz_Wx I got a little too close to that one and it was a wild ride lol. This was my view of it right before the 90-100mph RFD overtook me. I was lucky not to loose any windows.
@AshtonLemleyWX@VinceWaelti@bowlinbob I haven't found it to be an issue since it has so much in common with the Tundra. The few aftermarket things I have were actually Tundra spec
@VinceWaelti@AshtonLemleyWX@bowlinbob Toyota Sequoia. Just as big as a Tahoe and very off road capable with all terrain tires. I'm at 165,000 miles and never had a single issue even with all the abuse
New Mexico really delivered yesterday! We tracked this giant tornadic supercell as it slowly moved through eastern New Mexico and then into Texas #txwx#nmwx
@225MPH_EF4 Linneus, Missouri 5/6/23. Was chasing in front of the storm and once I knew a large tornado was on the ground I drove back into Linneus from the east, as I calculated the tornado to go just north of town. I dodged the tornado but was still too close and got hit with 90mph+ RFD
