@MichelleJe90007@CalgaryDave 🙄🤦♂️
Tell us you flunked out of math class without telling us …
You scrambled and struggled to get 300,000 to sign a petition. Still unverified & under a cloud of suspicion.
Meanwhile, FC got almost half a million signatures with half the effort.

@Dysfunctiontime@LukaszukAB Three of the first five people I saw in the video are all under 60:
Thomas Lukaszuk: 57
Rakhi Pancholi: 48
Janis Irwin: 41
The other two I couldn’t tell. I then saw a few twenty somethings.
@ClydeDoSomethin I’m not a betting man, but I’m guessing the average IQ actually increases slightly once you toddle off to Texas.
“Canada” is not having a referendum, & it remains to be seen if any such question will appear on any future referendum to be held in Alberta. Right now it’s doubtful.
@barrywbussey@jkenney@chaptersindigo I’d suggest reading it first to see if it’s suitable for children; or maybe it should be added to Danielle’s book ban … 160 and counting…

@MichaelKosterm2 There you have it folks.
This separatist nonsense was never about “freedom” for all Albertans.
This movement is based on white supremacists tropes, greed, misinformation, and stupidity.
@Hoodlum0404@MichaelKosterm2 He must know. He was apparently born in B.C. and his account is based in the United States.
Meanwhile, I’ve lived in Alberta since the early sixties and all his post told me about him was “I’m a racist and probably dropped out of or was kicked out of school”.
@DavidSpezner@jkenney Was your grandfather a POS Nazi?
Because that sounds like something the grandson of a Nazi might say.
My uncles fought in WWII to save the world from racist totalitarians.
Either your grandfather is spinning in his grave at your words, or he was a Nazi.
Which is true?
@Filamagnum@jkenney@acoyne Yeah, I’m not a fan of Jason Kenney, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
He’s been right about the separatists lately, even though he helped till the fields in which they sowed their seeds of divisiveness.
For that, I’ll never forgive him.
@CalgaryDave@yeofordsheriff As for attempting to move the goalposts, I expect nothing less from a die-hard separatist.
Constantly moving the goalposts from reality and facts to fantasy and fiction.
For that reason, I’m out.
@CalgaryDave@yeofordsheriff Well, I’ve also worked as a deputy returning officer (on multiple occasions), and I’m well travelled but always have called Canada home.
The only potential “gotcha” I see here is that you ran for public office, something I’ve never done.
What was the electorate’s verdict?
@yeofordsheriff@CalgaryDave My comments are based on being well educated, well read on these topics, and, while older now, I’ve kept my critical thinking abilities well-honed.
You?
@yeofordsheriff@CalgaryDave I talk to him about things; I mostly just ask questions, let him talk. There are a few other guys in that circle of acquaintances who might lean towards voting yes to separation if it ever gets that far.
What else do they have in common?
Older white guys
Racists
Like Trump
Dumb
@yeofordsheriff@CalgaryDave We must run in very different circles, apparently. I know just one guy through work who is a hard core separatist.
He gets most of his “news” from Telegram, and is know to have never met a conspiracy theory he didn’t like. A total nut bar: everyone else has learned to avoid him.
@yeofordsheriff@CalgaryDave I live in Edmonton, in a community with high incomes & higher post secondary completion, so that’s relevant.
Most separatists live rural &/or more south & tend to be poorly educated & wilfully ignorant.
Support for separation is higher amongst UCP members (54%) & lowest 4 NDP.
@yeofordsheriff@CalgaryDave Are you suggesting that all the polls are out of touch, too?
According to polling, support for Alberta separation ranges from 16% (the hard core bunch), to as high as maybe 27-28%.
67% opposed, 6% undecided.
