@GarryMunro4 @ewangibbs Really? I’d be interested in seeing that. The link I posted above shows sewage spills increasing in number, volume and duration. The bigger issue is just how limited the monitoring of these spillages are. That should be a concern for all of us living in Scotland

@GnupertTBear @ewangibbs That is 2015 data. A FOI from last year revealed scotland sewage spills had increased 40% in a 5-year period. Private and public water companies need to do much better. Not just measure against a poor performing neighbour.

We need more renewables. They are cheaper, carbon-free and homegrown.

We also need a stable source, nuclear, and during the transition, gas.
