Sisi tulikuwa machopi high school na campus, tukazoea kushinda tukiwa top of the food chain. Sasa huku nje hatuna job, hatuna pesa, hatuna kitu ya kutulisha ego gratification kama back then. Huku nje ndio tuna-realize money doesn't always require you to be academically smart.Kumbe maisha ilikuweka imetuweka kwa waiting room ya character development.
And when it's all said and done,it all boils down to how much you bring to the table regardless of your title. Lakini sasa hata hio maji ya kuboil tushakata
Hello GenZs. I read this story from someone I don’t like. But I liked the story.
Once upon a time…
In the Great Maasai Mara Republic, the animals had grown tired of the Lion King who ruled from his golden cave and behaved as if he owned every inch from the grasslands to the deep marshes. Many animals wanted change. So the Mara Opposition Council was formed.
Around the council circle sat the Hare, the Fox, the Hyena, the Giraffe, the Elephant, the Hippo fresh from the river, the Crocodile pretending to smile, and the Eagle watching from a tree like a senior analyst.
They all agreed on one thing.
The Lion must be replaced.
But that is where the unity stopped.
The Hare believed he was too clever to step aside for anyone.
The Fox believed she had the sharpest strategy.
The Hyena believed his loud voice could shake the whole Mara.
The Giraffe believed her height gave her a better national outlook.
The Elephant believed his memory of past governments made him the natural choice.
And the Hippo believed the Mara needed a water ruler this time.
Even the Crocodile claimed he was misunderstood and ready to lead.
Meanwhile the Eagle kept saying he had the aerial view and everyone else was blind.
Instead of forming one powerful team they each decided to run on their own. Every sunrise brought a new fight. Accusations flew. Secrets leaked. The animals spent more time hunting each other than hunting votes.
Far away on his favourite rock the Lion watched quietly. His whiskers twitched with amusement.
Late one evening he called the Hare for a private chat at the edge of the forest. The Hare went with his chest high, confident he could never be outwitted.
The Lion spoke softly.
“You know Hare, between us, you are the true contender. The Fox is too sly, the Hyena is too noisy, and the Elephant is too slow. You bring fresh excitement. Keep running on your own. Do not join them. You are the real change.”
Then the Lion pushed forward a generous bundle of fresh vegetables and sweet roots and called it transport.
The Hare left feeling chosen. From that day he launched the Third Force Movement and spent his days introducing new slogans. A fresh start. A new path. A different wave. A national alternative. Every week a new idea.
The Fox, the Hyena, the Elephant, the Hippo, the Giraffe and even the Crocodile grew furious. They attacked the Hare for dividing the Mara. The Hare attacked them back. The Eagle just kept tweeting from the sky as if he was above the drama.
And through all this the Lion did nothing. He simply watched the chaos with the calmness of someone who already knew the final results.
When the big day of decision finally arrived the Fox got her supporters, the Hyena got his crowd, the Elephant secured the memories of the old voters, the Giraffe collected the high places, the Hippo dominated the riverbank vote, the Eagle took the mountaintops, and the Hare gathered his Third Force faithful.
And the Lion, without even sweating, walked back into the golden cave with the easiest victory of his life.
From his rock he smiled at the divided animals. They had fought each other so hard that they forgot the reason they had begun the journey.
We pulled each other down teared each other’s reputations and in the end weakened ourselves.

Men are happiest when they’re improving themselves physically, mentally, and financially. I’ve learned this firsthand.
I used to think weekends were for smoking and drinking. Now, clarity, focus, and discipline replaced the bottle & smoke. Those same weekends are when I make the most progress — meetings, building relationships, and setting up the future I want.
The truth is, purpose will give you a better high than any substance. When you choose growth over distraction, your life starts to align. An idle man is a depressed man. But a man chasing his goals? That’s unstoppable. Choose purpose. Always!
Some people are born with it, they can feel that they are destined for greater & bigger things but can’t really explain “how” it will happen until it happens. It’s intuitive, I can’t explain it, it’s just a feeling that never goes away. Believe in yourself.
