At the NATO Defence Industry Forum in Ankara, 🇧🇪 Belgium joined 🇨🇦 🇪🇸 🇪🇪 🇫🇮 🇮🇹 🇳🇱 🇳🇴 🇸🇪 🇬🇧 and 🇺🇸 in signing a Statement of Intent to launch multinational Procurement Coalitions.

As the #NATOSummit begins in #Ankara, the focus is not only on the discussions taking place, but on the decisions that will shape the Alliance's future.

This year's Summit stands out for many reasons, among them:
• 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆: The emphasis is on turning previous commitments into concrete action, strengthening NATO's deterrence and defence through real capabilities.
• 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲: Allies will review progress on defence spending and, more importantly, how those investments are being transformed into military readiness, resilience, innovation, and industrial capacity.
• 𝐀 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: From reinforcing transatlantic unity to strengthening Europe's contribution to collective defence and sustaining support for Ukraine, the Summit reflects how NATO continues to adapt to an evolving security environment.

Congratulations to Türkiye and the city of Ankara for welcoming Allied leaders and providing the setting for discussions that will have a lasting impact on Euro-Atlantic security.
