This morning our CEO Kathy Boychuk met with Rav Ripnarain, the president of #FRAMS, along with Drew Fitzgerald & Stephanie White, two students from the #ISMI program. This year marks our 3rd of a 4 year commitment to the @MuseumFriend for the Indigenous Student Museum Internship
FRAMS acknowledges with gratitude partial support from @PeaceHillsIns, which in 2021 committed to a four-year, $17,000 sponsorship of the ISMI program.
Our Indigenous Student Museum Internship (ISMI) program offers Indigenous students an opportunity to further develop their career goals in the fields of cultural and natural heritage.
When asked what advice she’d give someone considering pursuing post-secondary, she says, “Don’t be afraid to explore. You study a subject you think you’re going to like, but along the way you might find something else you like a little more. Don’t be afraid to change your mind.”
We invite all members of the Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society (FRAMS) to attend our 2023 Annual General Meeting happening Thursday, June 29.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and AGM starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Roundhouse at the @RoyalAlberta. Eventbrite info coming soon.
