#WorkhouseWednesday In June 1892 the North Dublin Union minutes (BG 78) record that Thomas Kelly was sent, as a punishment, to an Auxiliary Workhouse in Church Street “for annoying [an] old man”. Another group were sent there for “coming off pass under the influence of drink”
