I spoke with Premier @FordNation today. I emphasized the importance of standing up for Canadians’ rights and freedoms, including workers’ rights – and I reiterated that the preemptive use of the notwithstanding clause is wrong and inappropriate.
Today, the @OCDSB is voting on reinstating mandatory masking in schools.
Meanwhile, COVID-19 rates in Ottawa's waste water are at all time high.
Let’s keep kids safe, and bring back masks in schools—since Doug Ford has dropped this crucial protection.
I wait for my Covid test results because I served an unvaccinated student and have symptoms. My child is missing school until I get my results. So. Yes. I want this to happen. It needs to happen. Yesterday! System is broken - Not sustainable. Not fair.

Support a FULL return to music programs in our schools because ALL students deserve a chance to be a part of a team, a club, or band.

It is with mixed emotions that I have decided to resign from Ontario’s science and modeling tables. I wish every success to the colleagues who remain on these tables. Ontario needs a public health system that is arm’s length from politics.
Earlier today, I sent a letter to @Sflecce in response to his back-to-school "plan". If we can call it that.
Though it falls short across the board, I'm especially concerned about music in school & am echoing @OMEAOntario's calls to action to ensure it happens SAFELY.

I say yet again: “Elect a clown- Get a Circus”🤡 🎪 #VoteThemAllOut2022#VoteFordOut2022#FireLecce It is apparent the government of the day has no concept of what is involved in planning a commencement ceremony; let alone an outdoor one with no notice‼️👎 #anotherfail
