Maggie Langfield

Retired; read a lot; Broadway musicals a must; Mozart is my hero (and Sondheim!); lover of all things liturgical, especially music; now into Ancestry, too.

@MaryLTrump Your books inspire me with each read-through. Thank you so much for being unequivocally yourself. Hope you can make it to this neck of the woods sometime! Would love to hear you. Keep up the good work.

@TheLastWord @Lawrence I'm a Canadian (go Canucks!) in Vancouver. I've been watching your show for a while and really enjoy it a lot. I want to thank you for all the *real* information you give, and your devotion to the truth. This is needing another!

@LisaLaFlamme_ So wonderful to see you on the air in London, Lisa. You were awesome, and City's coverage, w/o scrolls or chyron, had me there pretty much the whole time. Hope to see you more often. Brava, brava, brava!!! (Margaret, former YVR CTVer.)

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@tamarataggart @LisaLaFlamme_ I know, right, Tamara? I just sit here and shake my head. Would switch to Global, if it weren't for Mi-Jung and Nafeesa. :-) I like Omar fine, but...

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@jeffhutcheson LOL. I'm watching both CBC and Global.

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@coleenchristie @LisaLaFlamme_ I'm so very sorry, Lisa. Both having worked for Bob Hurst I felt we had something in common. This is just crazy. I was just an EA when it happened to me, but you should NEVER have been let go, and NOT in this way. So nuts. Take care. Maggie

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@ScottRobertsYVR I see you can't be messaged. :-( Want to send me one with your e-mail? I'd put mine here but it's a bit too public, if you follow. Can't wait to chat.

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@ScottRobertsYVR @LisaLaFlamme_ I know, right? What is going on there? Am going to message you separately, Scott, as there's something I want to ask. It's. Just. Plain. Nuts. Could understand when it happened to me, but seriously?

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@steeletalk Lynda, this is my bad! I finally remembered that when I had to send back a defective DVD and the wrong item, they sent me Puraloator labels which I printed out and used to send things back. Wonder if this only applies to defective stuff?

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@maddow Loved the pic from space telescope. Got kinda teary, then I noticed you looked affected, too? Too, too amazing. Love your show. Old lady in North Vancouver, BC.

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@Lawrence @TheLastWord Tiny Canadian town of Saanich has officers who didn't wait to engage the suspects. Ironic contrast w Uvalde. https://t.co/UCta5DctgD

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@KenJennings @missmayim Looking forward to your return, Ken. Mayim's great, and I love her on Kat, (almost as much as on TBBT) but miss your sense of humour and quick wit!! Regards from Vancouver.

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@steeletalk @amazon @canadapostcorp Is this new, Lynda? Just a couple of weeks ago I was able to return a defective DVD that way. They sent me a label to print out, slapped it on the box and put it in the mail. I hope this ain't so. (Missed you on-air!!!)

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@csw1rsk @taweez66 @RSwirsk You girls have been in my mind these last few days, as always at this time of year. Hugs to you all. (Another close friend close to death: *so* not fair; prayers of any kind welcomed. Her name is Sarah) xoxoxoxoxoxo

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@KathyKenzora Last night watched a bit of 'Ken & Barbie' from "Very Scary People" and every time you spoke I was sure I know you from somewhere. Did you ever work at TVO? (pre '86)

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@adriandix No anti-vaxxers when I got the Salk vaccine @ age 5-ish! All it took was a picture of 1 child in 1 iron lung, or 1 classmate in braces and a wheelchair. What is wrong with people? Great presser today.

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@11thHour Brian, you cannot be old enough to have memories of the Salk vaccine rollout! I know that because I am. LOL No anti-vaxxers in those days. All they had to see was 1 child in 1 iron lung. Love watching you!

[Maggie Langfield @MusicLady224]

@coleenchristie What you said tonight was beautiful! Switched from another channel on weekends and nice to see a familiar face. (You're not leaving, are you?)
