Malayaga Tamils in the highlands are being severely neglected by the state. They’re also one of the most highly impacted by the cyclones.

Some of the stories coming out of Sri Lanka are just unimaginably sad. And it’s now raining again. Please help in any way that you can. The coming days and weeks are going to be very challenging, especially for those in vulnerable areas like the coast and the central highlands.
I am blown away by the ferocity of filmmaking in #BisonKaalamadan written and directed by @mari_selvaraj!
Astutely detailed with rich lived experiences and powerful performances in a sports biopic done right.
Dhurv Vikram and Pasupathi are exemplary as the father-sun duo.
The father’s phone call asking the son to continue playing—even when the odds are completely against him—personally inspired me. I was so moved I paused and sat in silence soaking the courage it gave me. Felt the same when the father fights the cops to let his son go play kabbadi for India. People we love can carry us through moments we’re not sure we can survive.
Mari, I doff my hat to you, brother!
Bravo @beemji, Sameer Nair, Deepak Seigal and Aditi Anand for a great production!

140 years. 3000 km from Tamil Nadu. A whole Tamilian town hidden in the hills of Manipur.
Moreh’s “mini-Chennai” was born from exile—when thousands of Tamils were forced out of Burma in 1964 with nothing but a few rupees and hope.
They rebuilt life here with temples, dosas, festivals, and unbreakable spirit.
A story of loss, resilience, and identity that still thrives.

Wilcox and Berrada have too much at stake with respect toAmorim. They would rather take the whole institution down with them than risk their jobs now by admitting their blatant oversight
