I love seeing kids engage with nature! Yes, we took some time in music class to hug trees this week! 🌳 We also did #ArborDay chants & songs. 4th & 5th graders learned about layering in music and turned Arbor Day poems into musical performances! 🎶 #MusicWithMissL2024 @ccsd93

Happy Earth Day! 🌏 Students in music classes today participated in various Earth Day songs & instrumental activities. 3rd graders enjoyed going outside for our Earth Day jam where students lead the class in a rap or song using an #EarthDay poem for lyrics. 🌎#MusicWithMissL2024

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! 🎈(1904-1991) We’ve had fun in music class reading, singing, and rapping Dr. Seuss books. We also tried some silly songs from #TheCatInTheHat song book! Dancing with Seuss books to Seuss songs is always a big hit! #MusicWithMissL2024 @ccsd93 #DrSeuss
