@NoContextHumans Scrolled for a while and didn't see the right answer. The metal is trying to pull off the bumper; magnet pulls towards truck at same force; but is stopped by the rigid arm, which transfers to the bed, pushing backwards. So strong enough magnet and mount rips the truck in half.

Mars will not be ready before climate change kills us. Tera forming is a long game, the goal should be long term as well. Quicker to get boots on Mars, but far more productive long term boots on Venus.

Exploiting Mars with no people part 4: The energy to launch a 1000kg payload with SL would take ~1 hour to collect, with a 125 panel solar array, making launches completely carbon free.

Bots on Mars Pt 3: Use SpinLaunch to send robust robots first, with equipment to build a small foundry, and metal 3d printer. SpinLaunch steel ingots to the bots, who can then build more bots.
@elonmusk Sanity Check: Mars has no magnetic field > therefore every inch of mars is radioactive > People tend to die when exposed for long durations to radiation > Robots should be used to exploit Martian resources, not humans.
Now if only you had AI vehicles, and boring rigs..
