back in 2022, we hired a dev to help deploy a utility token for our project.
· never answered on time.
· caused massive delays.
· finally did the thing, then charged 11 ETH (completely wrecked us).
now in 2024, i was able to do it myself.
· tagged clanker bot on farcaster.
· token launched in 20 seconds, fair and free.
· no upfront cost for LP.
· made ∼11 ETH in fees already.
In the spirit of NFTs coming back.

This is low quality, elementary school maths I whipped up with cherry-picked data (only from 2022)...
But just to give a ballpark, hardware depreciation in bitcoin mining today is anywhere from $0.025 to $0.05 USD/kWh on top of your electricity and other operating costs, depending on how you figure annual % value depreciation is.
^^ note this does *not* account for hardware downtime or hardware repair costs.
Historically annual hardware depreciation has been much, much higher. As high as 90+ % loss in value.
The good news is that hardware depreciation rates diminish A) as the market matures (happening) and B) during bear markets when hardware values are much closer to COGS.
Also, there's much more upside to buying miners now *if* the market flips to bullish as you will see *appreciation* in your hardware, though likely much less than we've seen in the past due to A) above (limited rackspace, hardware abundance).
Those that were praying for these prices to accumulate a big bag aren't taking any action
They'll probably buy when everything does a 2-3x from here
And miss the boat again
It's funny how that works
