Do Not Let the Faults of Individuals Weaken Your Faith

Beloved Huzoor (aba) said that if a person is sincere in his pledge of Bai‘at, his connection with the Jamaat will naturally grow stronger and he will be protected from negative thoughts and satanic influences. His faith in the Promised Messiah (as) and Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya will remain firm even if he observes shortcomings in particular office-bearers or individuals. A person may recognise that someone has acted wrongly, but this should never cause him to turn against the Jamaat or weaken his commitment to the Promised Messiah (as). The fault of an individual must not become an excuse for failing to fulfil the rights of one’s own Bai‘at.

But the questions are: What was al-Qaeda? Who helped in its formation? Why and how did they confront a major power like the US?
