Finally, iQOO addresses the motherboard dead issues on iQOO Neo Series :

In an interview with Smartprix, iQOO India 🇮🇳 CEO acknowledges that iQOO Neo Series is facing Motherboard dead issue after update!

And as per him iQOO is taking this issue very seriously and working to solve it !

Also, the genuine user's who are facing motherboard dead issue on their phones, iQOO should give a free replacement of motherboard for those users !

Because this issue is not caused due to user's fault and dear user's please visit the official service center first if you're facing this issue.

Some of you have questioned why I was less proactive on the recent iQOO motherboard issues, and today I can answer some questions.

✅ Thing is, since this is a brand I directly work with and know well, I wanted to take a proper response from them directly.

And yeah, I can tell you a few things they told me, about which Nipun Marya has also since gone on record with in a recent interview:

1️⃣ The issue as per them only affected a very small percentage of isolated users: they have made a database of users who are genuinely affected to give them resolution.

⚠️ They also told me that they somehow established that the motherboard issues weren't linked to updates in all cases, since they found one user whose phone actually died 10-12 days after the July update was pushed.

2️⃣ They have acknowledged that some Neo series users did face motherboard issues, and they will work directly with the affected users to resolve them.

⚠️ If you are facing the issue, contact the service centre or customer support first and foremost. All motherboard cases are being handled directly by the core iQOO team.

3️⃣ I personally told their team in my interaction to consider free motherboard replacements for those genuinely affected, instead of a base 20% discount, even if the phones are out of warranty.

They said they are considering this move, so fingers crossed 🤞

I have something to add.. creators have made paid videos for vivos excellent service..

they were excellent but in 2026, they are getting worst.. I too have faced such issuse twice.. I will share details soon.

After all the Neo 10R motherboard drama, I honestly didn't expect things to end this way.I had visited the service centre quite a lot, and thankfully the staff were really helpful throughout the whole process. #iQOO #iQOONeo10R

Dear iQOO India 🇮🇳

Few years earlier, Poco & Redmi phones were also getting Motherboard dead issues, you know what Xiaomi did, they replaced the motherboard for absolutely free‼️

This Motherboard dead issue on iQOO Neo 9 Pro, iQOO 13, iQOO Neo 10R and 10 are widespread and happening with almost every users of these devices after update, so a problem which is caused by you guys, you should fix it for free‼️

One of the reason, people buy your device is because of good after sales service but if this is how you treat your customers then that's terrible... And people are going to keep this in mind for long term ✅
