@AKasingye You have already contributed significantly by guiding us appropriately. To me, that is like teaching us how to fish. Ideally, we should be providing you with dividends/returns for your contributions.
@DouglasLwangaUg Uganda's education system appears to channel individuals who do not pursue post-secondary education into self-employment opportunities, which is a do-it-yourself trap. Self-employment is proudly one of the aims of secondary education in Uganda.
Mustard Skills address three key drivers of unemployment: the mismatch between skills taught in school and those required by employers, a lack of advanced certification, and a lack of prior work experience. #MustardSkills#LearnMustardSkills#MustardSkillsPod
Mustard Skills are skills that enable individuals who choose to enter the workforce after secondary education, to build, test, and apply practical skills from an employer's perspective to stay ahead in the job market and stimulate lifetime success #MustardSkills#MustardSkillsPod
I know many young people who finished their studies have traversed this country, offices & businesses etc to look for jobs.
They have well written CVs. Question is, how many employers take seriously these CVs? Donโt get me wrong. CVS are very important. Your education, biodata, previous jobs, personal interests etc are very important.
But, employers want to find out if you can do the job. If you appreciate the entity. If can add value to the organization. Your grades & CGP at the university donโt mean much to them.
So, they offer you an opportunity to work as if youโre on internship. No contract. This means youโve been told to work with out a structured salary. You pay for your transport & lunch.
Unknown to you, someone is studying your commitment. Your capabilities. Your work ethic. How you relate with others. Your social media usage. Your patience & appearance.
I implore you to accept the โtermsโ. Be patient, work your schedule, observe time, be disciplined, show commitment to team work, & resilience to challenges.
You will be shocked when a contract is tossed at your desk to sign. Once you do, remain who you were during โinternshipโ but learn more & unleash your best to the job. Do not trade anything for the job. God bless you.
Maybe he was not willing to compromise his ๐ถ 27M the white French church spent on him just so the blacks look like they fit into the French society...
@MStylesug You people, why don't you leave Musuuga alone ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ. He's not looking annoyed rather, his rude-looking demeanor reflects a well-grounded and principled character.
@Eddieug10Ug Thank you @ChurchofUganda_ for producing an elite preacher. He demonstrated a high level of education and delivered a sermon grounded in biblical teachings, which resonated deeply with HRH Amoding.
