MAN TO MAN,
As a father of 3 children, Iโve learned that once you teach your son these 12 principles of human nature, he naturally earns respect, avoids unnecessary mistakes and grows into the kind of man the world rarely produces anymore.

Financial Lessons For Land use & management planning
Recently I tought the difference between cash flow investing and capital gains investing from a herd of cows during a land use planning exercise.
When I went for a land use planning exercise some time ago trying to solve for our farmers the best decision on what to focus on as an investment option, I took the farmer and her son to visit a cattle ranch.
On this visit to the ranch, we happened to see cowboys herding cattle from the paddocks to the abattoir. Although I took them away before they could see any cattle being slaughtered, They knew what was going to happenโฆ and so did the cattle. It was an experience I'm sure they will never forget.
A few hours later, I took them to a dairy farm. Early in the morning, we saw the farmer herding his cows into the parlour for milking. These cattle behaved very differently.
The financial lesson I wanted them to learn was that, while both the cattle rancher and the dairy farmer count their cattle as assets, they treat their assets differently, and they operate via different business models.
The visits to the ranch and the dairy farm were to emphasize the very important difference between two investing strategies:
๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐
Simply put, a cattle rancher can be compared to a person who invests for capital gains. He has to keep finding and raising new cows. It's non-stop.
A dairy farmer is more like an investor who invests for both Cash Flow & Capital Gains. He only needs to maintain his cows rather. Itโs much easier work.
One of the reasons so many people lose so much money investing, or think that investing is risky, is because they invest like ranchers. They invest to slaughter rather than to milk.
You need to invest to milk. To milk the cash cow!
Milk makes ice cream, yoghurt which brings more in revenue as well
After this visit I looked back to the farmers and asked them what they would think is the best investment option,
As expected an investment option that provides both capital gains and cashflow is a no brainer for smart investors!

NEVER HARM YOUR MOTHER
1. Harming her is harming the one person who never harmed you.
2. She stayed awake countless nights just to make sure you were okay.
3. She prayed for you even when you didnโt pray for yourself.
4. She loved you when you were at your absolute worst.
5. She forgave you for things no one else would.
6. She is the only person who will truly cry for you when youโre gone.
7. She gave up her dreams so you could chase yours.
8. She is your first home, your first love, and your safest place.
One day youโll wish you had more time with her, if you donโt create memories; youโll regret.
No matter how angry, frustrated, or disappointed you get.....
Never harm your mother, neither with your words nor your actions.
She is irreplaceable.
If you have money, don't rush into farming.
Look into the parts of agriculture where the biggest gaps exist:
โข Marketing
โข Distribution
โข Packaging
โข Storage
โข Logistics
โข Branding
โข Market Linkages
Nigeria already has millions of farmers producing food every season.
The bigger challenge is not production alone; it is getting products from the farm to profitable markets.
According to estimates from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and development partners, post-harvest losses in Nigeria range between 30% and 50% depending on the commodity. Billions of naira worth of food are lost annually because of poor storage, weak logistics, inadequate processing, and limited market access.
Think about it:
1. How do tomatoes move from Kano to Lagos?
2. How do yam farmers in Benue access buyers in Port Harcourt?
3. How do maize farmers in Kaduna secure better prices instead of selling immediately after harvest?
4. How do smallholder farmers build brands instead of remaining anonymous producers?
These are billion-naira problems waiting to be solved.
Even if you don't have money to start a farm, you can still create value.
Learn how to connect buyers and sellers.
Build networks.
Aggregate produce.
Create market access.
Help farmers find better prices.
Organize transportation.
Provide storage solutions.
Package products for urban markets.
Agriculture is more than planting and harvesting.
In fact, some of the biggest opportunities today are beyond the farm gate.
There are already enough farmers producing food without reliable alternatives when prices crash.
The person who solves the market problem often earns more than the person producing the commodity.
The future of agriculture belongs to those who can move products efficiently, connect markets, and create value across the supply chain.

3) Jack Ma was rejected from 30+ jobs and failed his college exams multiple times before building Alibaba.
4) Steve Jobs got fired from his own company Apple in 1985 and called it the best thing that ever happened to him.
5) Walt Disney was fired for โlacking imaginationโ and went bankrupt multiple times before creating Disney.
