The EMGS Young Scientist Award Lecture is a favorite of mine. Zac Nagel is in great company with past winners @AshPrakash5 and @Freudlab! He is speaking on the effect of genes and the environment on DNA repair why some of us are more susceptible to cancer. #EMGS2019@EMGSUS
"Stellar" talk by Sarah
Wallace @NASA about @ISS_Research scientific team's mission, including microbial monitoring & DNA sequencing in space! @EMGSUS#EMGS2019
Such an interesting and important talk today by Jill Escher about germ cell exposure and neurological disorders (Autism, ADHD) in the F2 generation [grandkids]. Exposure of the F0 generation's germ cells to drugs, smoke, and anesthetics must be looked into genetically. #EMGS2019
THANK YOU @YvetteSeger, @Keiindc, @HeidiHeitkamp, and Meredith Drosback @RealSciLine for speaking in our symposium @EMGSUS. It was an inspiring session that left us all excited to go out and Bridge the Gap between Science and Policy. The society was truly buzzing afterwards. 1/4
Congratulations to Chathura Gunasekara, our first Epigenomics SIG travel award winner @EMGSUS#EMGS2019. We also enjoyed a great discussion with Randy Jirtle #epigenetics
Inspirational talk by Frederica Perera @ColumbiaMSPH#EMGS2019 on multifactorial effects of environment on the brain development in children. Study with cohorts over decades.
