There is a very evil company called Johnson & Johnson. It makes baby powder from a substance called talc, which is widely believed to cause cancer. 68,000 lawsuits in the US alone from people saying it gave them cancer. Yet, in Kenya, KEBS was recently in court defending them!!

Ukiyaona ya Musa utastaajabu ya Firauni. These folks, J & J, have stopped selling talc based baby powder in Europe, Canada, and the US. They've switched to cornstarch, a safer product. But they wanted to continue selling this cancerous stuff to Africans!

Many African countries outright told them no. Their products were confiscated and destroyed. Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, even Congo told J&J to pound sand. Guess where they were welcomed with two hands? The 254, mabibi na mabwana.

An activist asked the high court to chase J&J with a big stick the way we hunt out mole rats. Then KEBS themselves, who are supposed to be shielding Kenyans from cancer, rushed over to defend them!!

The court ruled in favour of J&J. They wanted the activist to show live live how the children were getting cancer. How did they expect one guy to do that? Sacrifice a few newborns by lathering them with the powder, then come back to court with them 50 years later when there wombs are all toast from ovarian cancer?

Hii Kenya as long as you're a corporate giant with bags of money, does it mean that you can buy even the President to testify for you as you continue doing the most despicable nonsense to mwananchi?
