@ArtemR @AndyH_England But pixel does this. In one of our pixel test devices, the adaptive battery was turned on by default and all the apps keeps being killed by OS aggressively. All because of adaptive battery.

@Zhuinden I wish this show and hide option is given from jetpack navigation library itself, specifically on compose navigation.
I had to use PinnableContainer to acheive this behavior on compose, but then I couldn't use navigation library for the navigating between these screens.

@JPtaszyk @GakisStylianos @ianhlake @anomisSi I also felt the same with the Java code generated from proto. Then I used Square's Wire gradle plugin to generate Kotlin code from protobuf which fixes all the issues you mentioned. I also wrote about the steps to integrate Wire gradle plugin here.

@csinco @grishka11 @romannurik @intellijidea @androidstudio The look and feel is good in the new UI. But for me it is not practical. Seems all the textual tab names are replaced with icons, and it is very hard to find the right tab with just icon.

@CharfaouiYounes Gradle, library version update which breaks something else, implicit mapping between libraries like kotlin and compose, ksp, gradle plugin updates.
Anything else, we can atleast put some hack to make the code work, but anything build related, we have to spend hours or even days.

@LowCarbRob I don't remember exactly when this happened, but canary and beta AS don't require beta versions of AGP nowadays. I'm using 7.2.2 version of AGP in my project.
