You must have heard what happened to get former Mines Minister Chitando fired.Apparently he refused to see Collins and Sean who wanted his written approval for a mining deal which was not in the country's interests and highly inappropriate. So he was fired by the father whilst attending a workshop in Masvingo.

Why do women take all day to prepare lunch? One minute they’re peeling potatoes, the next they’re on the phone, totally forgetting that we’re starving.

I’ve realised one thing: women do a lot of tasting and nibbling while cooking. That’s why they’re never in a hurry ,they’re full before the food even hits the table. Vanenge vatoguta! Some even have the audacity to turn off the stove, call their sisters, and have a proper laugh while we sit there, fainting with hunger! Mxmmmm

Anyway ,I woke up early, prepped everything, peeled the potatoes, oven-roasted the pork joint, and made a thick, high-viscosity mushroom gravy. Job done.
