@Andyrooz22 Not fun! We have long 20g cannulas for just these cases. My personal preference is vygon art line as PVC when doing US guided peripheral access (labelled ++ if staying in for ward use) - better 1st pass success rate for me, and don’t tissue as frequently.

@AnnaBatchelor @fuzzymittens We occasionally come across this opinion when it comes to all in one from Arrow vs true Seldinger technique from Vygon. Our belief is catheter material and true Seldinger technique gives longevity and ease of insertion for those difficult arteries. Thank you @AnnaBatchelor
