Seven years ago, John Njoroge relocated from Kenya to the United States. Once settled, he filed for his wife to join him, and she later moved to the U.S. to be with him. Their marriage, however, did not last. The relationship broke down, ending in divorce and John was subsequently arrested and charged with domestic violence, a case that led to a jail sentence.
At the time of his arrest, John was already dealing with a leg injury, which worsened significantly during his time in custody. After completing his sentence, he was released, but the toll of repeated court proceedings had already cost him his job. His estranged wife later had him evicted from the four-bedroom home they had shared.
Today, John is homeless, living out of his car in Atlanta, Georgia. His leg injury has left him unable to walk normally, and he remains unable to work. He is reaching out to the Kenyan community in the U.S. for support during this difficult time.
@DonaldBKipkorir You are a lawyer and these are sovereign international states. Where do you place your stand within international law?
Impunity on the international stage should have its limits.
@DonaldBKipkorir@DCI_Kenya@EACCKenya Leadership in Kenya is in comatose. Bribes are happening left, right, center and everywhere with no filters on. Welcome to Kenya where being a called a thief is a honorary title cherished by the president, governors, MPs, senators and MCAs.
@K24Tv UhuRuto once told us that Kenya has the land questions and they have land answers. Each became PORK one after the other. One even appointed you SG to his UDAKU party . Either concentrate on UDAKU or indulge him to give you the answers. Lakini wacha diversion --- tunawaonea 18.
This is great! The supreme court is giving the right direction. It is an indictment of the two lower courts. Just imagine if the appellant stopped at these two other courts.
Workers pension funds are never GoK money to be pilfered at will like they do to the taxes and eurobonds.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court has just made a massive ruling on YOUR pension money.
Attorney General Dorcas Oduor and 3 others LOST the case while defending the government’s position.
For years, the government treated pension money deducted from workers’ salaries as if it were public money.
That is why pension schemes faced endless bureaucracy, procurement rules, delays, and costly approvals before investing your savings.
The Association of Retirement Benefits Schemes challenged this in court.
They lost in the High Court.
Lost again in the Court of Appeal.
But on 15th May 2026, the Supreme Court finally ruled in their favour.
The court declared that pension schemes sponsored by public entities and state corporations are PRIVATE TRUSTS, not government money.
Meaning?
Your pension is YOUR money.
Not the government’s.
Trustees can now invest faster, avoid unnecessary procurement bureaucracy, and potentially grow retirement savings better for millions of Kenyans.
This is one of the biggest financial rulings most wananchi have never heard about.

Dear Kenya Power @KenyaPower_Care@KenyaPower The post below is posing serious danger to the lives of citizens living along Kiungani Rd, near EPCO, off Mombasa Rd in Syokimau. Kindly attend to it with the most desired urgency. A cow has already been electrocuted near this pole.
@NelsonHavi Laws are for the weak. Mwenye nguvu mpishe. Fairness is sought by people who are not in power. Constitution is put in place control and stupify the ruled. All this comes into play when fools attain access to power and they become more fools for thinking that power lasts!
@HonJBMuturi Nairobi Hospital has been an amorphous entity whose ownership has always been shrouded in mystery. It is more of a money laundering amphibian as opposed to a Health Service Organization it makes the public believe it is. It has always been part of power play.
