Importantly, for the first time, the Cumnor NP maps flood risk in the Parish inc groundwater flood risk & gives clear guidance that developers would need to follow to mitigate this inc effective measurements of the site in any planning application

If adopted the Cumnor NP protects existing ‘green infrastructure’ eg Local Wildlife Sites but also protects ‘on site biodiversity’ eg trees, hedgerows & footpaths.

In the Cumnor Neighbourhood Plan there are 7 Design & Built Character policies. Cumnor Parish is diverse, with each area having its own unique character. These policies will help developers understand what that character is and integrate this into their proposals.
