@HackingChinese @SkritterHQ In class we’re discussing the components of 喝. My teacher said that top of the character is 日. I said that it’s 曰, and it makes more sense because of its meaning to which she replied it doesn’t matter whether is 日 or 曰, and 曰 is out of usage, so we don’t have to learn it

I was just “juggling” the words, and I want to share what I got.

1）坐地铁 take the subway
2）到地铁 to the subway
3）坐到地铁 get to the subway (by some transport)
4）坐地铁到 ……
get to ... (some place) by subway；
take the subway to ... (some place)

@radiahluron I’m not 100% sure, but as I know 聊 is about informal conversation like chat. 谈 is more formal and can be used in any case, for example ‘to talk with teacher’ is 跟老师谈谈.
提 I think it’s not synonym for the last two, it means ‘to mention some topic’ or ‘to give an opinion’.
