@Lorgarwasright2 Because space marines in lore are super special elite troops where a single squad can turn the tide of battle
While in tabletop they're the average baseline, the generalist everything force
Custodes should not have been in tabletop, and space marines should have been custodes
@Primus_Arts I just hope the elders feel like true apocalyptic threats like gog, instead of just another monster like the usual suspects of the stras, kushala or kirin. I do agree that's only really doable if they have very few though!
@Mataharitas@TearShapedHeart For example for a 2K battle you can deploy 1K units at the start then bring 3 sets worth 500 points each, deploying two of them and leaving the last one out of the battle
@Mataharitas@TearShapedHeart The nachmund gauntlet crusade rules do something similar actually! You deploy only some of your army, with the rest coming in two reinforcement waves, but you can bring a third wave and pick which two you'll be deploying.
@JasinyTops Because it was different people with different tastes reviewing them? Maybe to the person that reviewed mixtape it hit close to home and the lack of gameplay wasn't an issue. You gotta remember IGN reviewers are various individuals not an amalgamous John IGN.
@moonstruckrev I'm not saying all feedback is bad and should be ignored, but they have to keep in mind EA players had a limited perspective. We didn't know we'd be getting Jaheira as a druid companion who would overshadow Halsin. Him being a companion makes less sense when she's there.
@moonstruckrev I feel like Halsin is a prime example of why Larian shouldn't always listen to early access feedback. Imagine if all that dev time turning Halsin into a companion was spent on fleshing out Wyll and/or Karlach instead, or even getting us that halfling werewolf!
@gnomedepot That specific field you might not guess which rumours were correct. Just like how you might know how to differentiate animals near your home but not in other parts of the world. Unless their village routinely drives back troll attacks, they won't know about fire being effective.
@gnomedepot So you roll to see if you remember the correct bit of info, as unless you've explicitly studied relevant research you're just trying to separate the true rumours from the false. Same with most other well-known things. Unless your character's home had to deal with it, or you study
@bunnycapgonk I'm honestly so jealous of people that can really take their time and really squeeze so much out of one game/save. I feel like I'm always in rush mode trying to get to the next thing ASAP and I wish I could make myself slow down!
@SigmaSyndikate@prerat Yep, also why red pushers kept saying it was the blues that introduced death to the equation. Because that makes their seflish stance the do nothing option and puts all the responsibility on everyone else.
@B0nesJam I'm genuinely not sure if he could. With how much his team struggled trying to make reanimarks due to their resilience I doubt they could cut conquest up at all.
@MidnightBoshi I genuinely don't get what people were expecting. Like yeah no shit the basegame of wilds is gonna be easy when you're skilled enough the beat the hardest bosses in the previous games' DLCs. You've beaten the hardest challenge, ofc the new player onboarding is easy to you!
