ICYMI: As someone living with hearing loss, I’d love to be able to go to the theatre more often, but I can only hear every one word in five.
I went and tried out something it’s hoped will resolve this problem at the @NationalTheatre for @BBCNews.
I’d love to be able to go to the theatre more often, but as someone living with hearing loss, it can be too difficult to hear what’s going on.
For my latest @BBCNews report, I went to the @NationalTheatre to try out some subtitling smart glasses aimed at resolving this problem.

Really interesting piece here on what Airbnb really does to a neighbourhood.
While the short-term letting app can boost tourism and local economies, it can also drive up rents for residents and affect community cohesion.
What’s your experience?
