KDKA, as I’m sure you know, is a CBS O&O station. It has invested in these sets in all its top markets. The lack of reporters is a sign of the times in the news business. Virtually all stations have on air talent producing more (a lot more) ‘content’ but provide less overall coverage since its reporting staff is so thin. Totally different from how it once was.
