Peter Jackson’s King Kong has received an unofficial native PC port based on the Xbox 360 version.

The Xbox 360 version had improved graphics compared with the original PC release, including better lighting, textures, effects, level detail and a more detailed Kong.

The new PC port adds:

• Up to 8K resolution
• Up to 240 FPS or unlimited frame rates
• Keyboard and mouse support
• Controller remapping
• Xbox 360-style achievement pop-ups

The port doesn’t include the original game files, so you’ll need your own Xbox 360 copy.
