@JuliusFnDiamond@jackcalifano And if you continued to sell tickets below cost of putting on the show, which $1 surely is at MSG, you won’t be wealthy long.
@JuliusFnDiamond@jackcalifano Gross, maybe. But if it was your band and you could sell tickets for a higher price because demand says people will pay it, you’d do the same.
How can it not be true by your own statement “…if you feel it’s worth it you’ll pay to see them.” That’s the point! People feel it is worth it so they pay it. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t pay and prices would come down, as unsold tickets often do on the day of the show. Plus, the prices of tickets most people are complaining are really high cost are aftermarket tickets already sold by the band at a lower price. The person who bought it at face value is reselling it for a higher price. That’s not the band’s doing. That is the free market at work. Supply and demand 101.
Houston is generally a nice city…but liberal policies. If you’re a conservative, check out The Woodlands TX which is about 35 miles north of downtown Houston. Always rated as a top 3 master planned community in the nation. Has everything you need for work, restaurants, and entertainment.
@warDaniel47 He’s wrong about the Republicans not having a plan. The House has put a plan up for vote a few times after the start of Obamacare and the left has voted it down.
No one ever claimed Biden or Obama could do not wrong. That’s laughable! I’m guessing you never watch left news that claimed neither ever did anything wrong. Again, this post had nothing to do with claiming Trump could do not wrong. It was simply a post about an FBI raid to catch a spy. You interjected Trump into the conversation because of your TDS.
Don’t you mean where was Obama and Biden’s FBI? Obama was president until 2017, six years of this period and Biden president from 2021 - 2025, two years of this period. They were president 8 years during the 12 year period. Oh by the way, it was Trump’s FBI that arrested him. Nice try but your post only shows your ignorance and brainwashing.
@gtrrvr@Jag_Panzer@mitchlafon No, EVH was great and there are many more who agree with me on this point. Yngwie rarely ranks in the top 10 of any great guitarist list. I’ll untwist my panties as I am taking them off your face.
Technical ability and speed in playing is not hard to achieve. There are thousands of guitar players that have great technical ability and play fast. But few can sell albums at the volume of VH and sell out large arenas decade after decade. I agree Yngwie is a great technical player and if that is your only criteria, I get why you think he’s better the EVH, but that’s debatable and not the only criteria that counts. Popularity of music reflected in album sales, radio play, and concert attendance tells me he’s no EVH.
Technical guitar players are everywhere. What makes the great ones is their song-writing ability and popularity of their music which is represented by sales and concert attendance. VH excelled with both. So yes, sales are a metric as well as the ability to sell out arenas for decades.
@gtrrvr@Jag_Panzer@mitchlafon Comparing Yngwie to Eddie is laughable. VH’s album sales dwarfs Yngwie’s and he could never put as many in an arena as VH. There’s more to playing than just speed which is where Yngwie excels but so do thousands of others.
