“Napkins” from The Bear (2024) is one of the show’s biggest surprises. Instead of another frantic kitchen episode, it slows everything down and lets Tina’s search for work quietly become a story about dignity, kindness and finding a place to belong.
“Forks” from The Bear (2023) is one of television’s great character episodes. Watching Richie finally discover purpose through something as simple as doing a job well turns an unlikely redemption story into the emotional heart of the series.
the fact that he did this and then was immediately emotionally held by Sydney and Richie and realized in real time what the kitchen atmosphere can be like with the people you love like idk he 100% goes back to the restaurant
lowkey this was Carmy realizing in real time that he loves cooking again and loves working there. he has nothing passionate to say about architecture. he can't do math. he'll likely hate it. i really do think he comes back to The Bear/Beef and just want a nice home.
Humans have evolved for 300,000 years. Whether through cosmic curiosity or some deity's divine will, who knows.

And what do we have to show for it - private equity.
@PlayStation You are killing ownership. You are killing legal preservation. You are killing discoverability. You are killing publishers. You are killing developers. This is a move that might slightly improve bottom lines, but tear down every other aspect of this medium. Well done! You f*d up!
@PlayStation Then stop selling digital games for the same price as physical ones too. You're removing the printing, box, and shipping prices from the equation completely so I shouldn't be paying $70 for digital games anymore.
