Game 2:
After a low-scoring 1st qtr, Caledonia scored the first 15 points of the 2nd qtr to go up 19-4. They were still leading 28-13 in the middle of the 3rd qtr when Lansing Waverly scored the final 10 points of the qtr to pull within 28-23 heading into the final period. However, Caledonia outscored Waverly 11-4 in the 4th to take a 39-27 victory.

Fr Reese Abbott (pictured, #5) and soph Myla Gortmaker (pictured, #4) led Caledonia with 11 & 10 points, respectively. Gortmaker also added 7 rebounds & 4 steals, while Abbott had 5 rebounds & a pair of steals. Caledonia went 11 deep and was aggressive on the offensive glass leading to a 36-24 rebounding advantage.

For Lansing Waverly, sr Natalia Suddeth was the leading scorer with 9 points, while jr Jakayla Williams was an energizing force with 9 rebounds and 5 steals from the PG position.

She has a confident stroke from three-point distance, fires skip passes cross court to open teammates, handles the ball well with both hands, & finishes through contact. @MylaGortmaker has been very active.
