The timing, that the man responsible is allegedly a known fraudster for an identical earlier claim, plus the x-rays show misaligned and conflicting shaped bones, lead me to believe this is misinformation to create more doubt and disbelief.

Greed breeds hate, which creates fear, which brings about retaliation, bringing new forces to power, fueled by revenge, they become corrupted and consumed, leading to greed and the cycle repeats.
