I was getting food with a man. When we were done, he went to the loo & I asked the waitress for the bill. With shock and disbelief, she said “you’re paying???”
I nodded and started transferring but before I finished, he came back & gave her his card.
She said with relief, “Ehnehn, why will you pay?”
All of us burst out laughing. 😂😂
Just remembered this lady who crowdfunded for her husband’s kidney issues, she got the money complete, entered her dm to inquire about the transplant process cause we were making plans for my mum at that time..
The moment she found out my mum had same issues with her husband she asked for my details and sent me 100k
It was so random and unexpected, she kept checking up and vice versa🥹
Even in her moment of need she still extended her generosity towards me
I really hope your life is filled with Ease❤️
Human birth is one of the most dangerous and difficult deliveries in the entire animal kingdom. Which animal are you comparing it to.
Babies have big heads, and our mothers walk upright on two legs. That combination is exactly why the human woman is the only species that needs another person to help her give birth.
A chimpanzee can walk into the bush, deliver, and carry her baby out on her own. How many woman is capable of doing that.
And you get mind mention C-sections like they’re ordinary. A C-section is major surgery they cut a woman’s abdomen open. Before that surgery existed, the same labour you’re calling “nothing special” has buried so many mother and child together.
A man who came into this world through a woman’s pain is now sitting down to compare that pain to chimpanzees and kangaroos.
Until you stay in a room where your own wife is giving birth to your child that’s the day una go really respect childbirth.
Have you people now seen why we say marry first? Because no right-thinking married man with kids will come out on social media to vomit this kind of rubbish.
A young lady was heavily pregnant, just two weeks away from her delivery date.
Her husband traveled for a corporate trip, and since her mother was late, her mother-in-law came over to stay with her just in case of an emergency.
During the day, they had a bitter argument because the lady refused to allow her mother-in-law to bring local village herbs into the house.
The mother-in-law was so offended that she locked herself in her downstairs room and put her phone on silent, murmuring that the lady would learn a bitter lesson.
In the middle of the night, the pregnant lady’s water broke upstairs. She suddenly suffered severe pre-eclampsia complications, leaving her blind and unable to walk.
Gasping for breath, she crawled to the staircase landing, pounding the floor and screaming: "Mama! Please help me! The baby is coming! Call the estate security!"
The mother-in-law woke up and heard the screams. But because of raw, toxic pride, she pulled her blanket over her head and muttered: "Let her shout. She thinks she is independent. Let her feel the pain a bit before I help her in the morning."
Losing consciousness, the lady managed to dial estate security with shaking fingers. When the security team broke the front door open at 4:00 AM, the house was silent. They rushed upstairs and found her unconscious in a pool of blood from a severe seizure.
Doctors saved the lady's life after a five-hour ICU surgery, but her beautiful baby boy suffocated in the womb due to the delay.
When the husband arrived at the hospital crying, the mother-in-law lied that she was sleeping heavily. But the estate security guard looked her dead in the eye and said: "Mama, when we broke the door, we saw you peeking through your window curtains. You were awake."
The husband has officially disowned his mother, and the family is broken forever.
Please, never use an emergency to "teach someone a lesson."
Pride and anger do not look back, and a few hours of stubbornness can cost a life you can never replace.
This is a real-life incident.
Neurosurgery sounds delicate. In reality there’s drilling, suction, and a lot of “okay let’s see what’s behind this.”
The most precise surgery in medicine is arguably ophthalmology, that’s where 1mm ruins your life.
The urge for parents to tell the doctor seeing them "My daughter is a doctor, let me call her so that she will greet you".
My number no dey always go anyways. I don too fall their hands.
The doctors they see are usually gracious as well so it's either i get a picture of the person or the office, especially if they're an OAU graduate or ever worked in places where I have worked.
BREAKING: New Hampshire’s first transgender elected Rep., Stacie Laughton (D), sentenced to 33 YEARS in prison for the s*xual exploitation of children.
A nurse was recorded telling another shopper that Islam is a “terrorist organization” and that the woman worships a PDF. She also stated, “This is not a Muslim country, this is a Christian country.”
The woman stood her ground during the confrontation. Who is with her?
Churches will put pictures and videos out, you'll see kids.
Schools will put pictures and videos out, you'll see kids.
Recreational centers will put pictures and videos out, you'll see kids.
Advertisements on tv and radios, you'll see kids.
NGOs will put pictures and videos out, you'll see kids.
Our lovely chess master does his videos and pictures, you'll see kids and all of you will be "awwing" and smiling.
Guess the only organization people are dragging, schools and teachers!
The way you people treat educational institutions and anybody doing you a favor by teaching your children is actually sickening!
Any small thing, "I'll sue the teacher", "the school will be in trouble", I'll do this, I'll do that 🤡
Na only school dey get problem everytime.
If you could teach your children yourselves, put them at home and teach them.
It's high time schools and teachers start speaking up too, all these threats are annoying.
If you cannot sue your church media team for taking videos and pictures of your kids without your permission, don't come and start flexing muscles with schools and teachers!
Bill Maher on the Islamic slaughter of Christians in Nigeria: "They are literally trying to wipe out the christian population of an entire country. Where are the kids protesting this? They don't care because the Jews aren't involved"
I entered a bus and one man was on the phone: Make I call you back. My wife just gave birth to triplets. Two boys and a girl.”
One woman shouted, Congratulations!
The man replied her that that they had waited 15 years for children.
Next thing, everybody in the bus started congratulating him.
That’s how the man was telling us he hadn’t eaten since yesterday, he was going to buy things for the babies, and if he didn’t have transport fare on his way back, he would trek to the hospital.
People started praying for him. Then he dropped.
Immediately he dropped the same woman who first shouted “Congratulations!” was the same one who shouted
That man dey lie. He no born any pikin.😭😭😭😂
My mum was admitted at a teaching hospital recently, and I was being modest with the Student Doctors and Interns. Until it was time to take sample and I said "that's the tourniquet you're looking for".
This profession has ruined my dreams.
I dreamt I was doing the Heimlich maneuver on an obese teenager choking at a party.
The maneuver was a full-body workout; I woke up exhausted.
At least we saved him!
On a serious note, it was a reminder that nothing good comes from obesity. Every extra kilogram increases the risk of serious health complications, and even simple emergency procedures become much harder.
Do something today. Your future self will thank you.
At the hospital yesterday, conso prescribed Haloperidol and olanzapine, I took one look at the prescription and said “sir you didn’t add folic acid”…. na there I fuck up.
He adjusted his glasses and said “are you sure it’s only content creation you do, what did you study?”
Patient to me: Doctor you’re really nice and I like that
