Former Prime Minister Imran Khan's conversation with lawyers in Adiala Jail - May 22, 2025

The baseless trials related to the events of May 9th (2023) have resumed once again. May 9th was a false flag operation. No CCTV footage has been presented to this day, and the past two years have made it abundantly clear that its sole objective was to crush PTI. The truth will be evident to all if the CCTV footage of that day is made public.

Seats were stolen from our candidates in Peshawar through the manipulation of Form-47, just like in other parts of the country. Legally, election petitions must be decided within 180 days. Yet, despite the passage of 15 months — and repeated changes in laws and judges — hearings have not even begun.

Those whose mandate was stolen in Peshawar must immediately file petitions in the High Court, together with the provincial cabinet, and should protest before the Election Commission. Furthermore, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly must pass a resolution on this matter.

As party chairman, it is necessary for the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to seek my guidance on budgetary and policy matters. The people have elected PTI to govern, and therefore, the responsibility for policymaking also rests with us. Consequently, it is essential that Ali Amin Gandapur and the finance minister meet with me before the budget is presented.

No one has approached me for any negotiations. News claiming otherwise is entirely false.

National unity is of utmost importance at this time for three key reasons:

Narendra Modi, having faced embarrassment in the recent Indo-Pak tensions, is likely to retaliate to salvage his pride.

Innocent lives are being lost daily to terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

The economy is in shambles; investors and the youth are steadily leaving the country.

It is for these reasons that I have called for dialogue. But talks will only be held with those who actually hold power, and only in the national interest. I do not fear hardship — my resolve remains strong.

Engaging in any talks with the puppet PML-N government is pointless. This illegitimate Form-47 installed government has already wasted two months. Its only objective is to cling to false authority. It holds no real power. This is the very regime that has utterly destroyed Pakistan’s moral values and constitutional structure.

Democracy is founded on two core principles: rule of law and moral integrity. The baseless political cases against me and other PTI members, forced abductions, and coerced press conferences designed to make members publicly disassociate from the party — all prove that rule of law has been entirely dismantled. What we now have is the law of the jungle.

The decline of integrity is equally alarming. The Chief Election Commissioner and other members of the Election Commission continue to hold office even after the terms have ended. The formation of a controversial constitutional bench, its conduct and handling of cases further reflect the erosion of ethical standards. Democracy cannot flourish in the absence of law and morality. This is a recipe for societal collapse, and it should serve as a wake-up call for all of us.

I am being subjected to all forms of hardships. I am not allowed to speak to my children. Meetings with my family are arbitrarily delayed for days. Even my personal physician is not permitted to see me. Despite this, I will continue to stand firm for the sake of my nation.

”نو مئی کے جھوٹے کیسز کا ٹرائل ایک بار پھر شروع کیا گیا ہے- 9 مئی ایک فالس فلیگ آپریشن تھا جس کی سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج آج تک پیش نہیں کی جا سکی اور پچھلے دو سال نے یہ ثابت کیا کہ اس کا واحد مقصد تحریک انصاف کو کچلنا تھا۔ نو مئی کی سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج اگر پیش کر دی جائے تو سچ سب کے سامنے آ جائے۔

ملک بھر کی طرح پشاور میں بھی ہمارے امیدواروں سے فارم 47 کے ذریعے سیٹیں چھینی گئیں- الیکشن پٹیشنز کا فیصلہ دینے کے لیے ذیادہ سے ذیادہ 180 دن کا وقت ہوتا ہے لیکن 15 ماہ گزرنے اور بار بار قانون اور جج بدلنے کے باوجود اب تک سماعت بھی نہیں شروع ہو سکی-

پشاور سے ہمارے جن لوگوں کا مینڈیٹ چھینا گیا ان کو کابینہ سمیت فوری طور پر ہائی کورٹ سے رجوع کر کے پٹیشن دائر کرنی چاہیئے اور الیکشن کمیشن کے سامنے احتجاج بھی کرنا چاہئیے۔اس کے علاوہ خیبرپختونخوا اسمبلی سے قرارداد بھی منظور کریں۔

بطور پارٹی سربراہ بجٹ اور پالیسی سازی کے حوالے سے خیبرپختونخوا کی حکومت نے مجھ سے ہدایات لینی ہوتی ہیں۔ عوام نے تحریک انصاف کو حکومت کیلئے منتخب کیا ہے تو پالیسی مرتب کرنا بھی ہماری زمہ داری ہے- لہذا بجٹ پیش کرنے سے پہلے علی امین گنڈاپور اور وزیر خزانہ کی مجھ سے ملاقات کروانا ضروری ہے۔

مذاکرات کے حوالے سے کوئی مجھ سے ملاقات کرنے نہیں آیا، یہ خبر محض جھوٹ پر مبنی ہے۔

تین وجوہات کی وجہ سے اس وقت قوم کو اتحاد کی شدید ضرورت ہے:

۱- مودی کو حالیہ پاک بھارت کشیدگی میں جو سبکی ہوئی اس خفت مٹانے کیلئے وہ ضرور دوبارہ وار کرے گا

۲- خیبرپختونخوا اور بلوچستان میں آئے روز دہشتگردی کے واقعات میں معصوم لوگ شہید ہو رہے ہیں

۳- معیشت مکمل طور پر تباہ حال ہے اور سرمایہ دار اور نوجوان مسلسل بیرون ملک منتقل ہو رہے ہیں

انہی وجوہات کی بدولت میں نے مذاکرات کی بات کی ہے۔ مذاکرات ان سے ہی ہوں گے جن کے پاس اختیار ہے اور یہ مذاکرات صرف ملکی مفادات کی خاطر ہوں گے۔ میں کسی مشکل سے نہیں گھبراتا میرا عزم مضبوط ہے۔

نون لیگ کی کٹھ پتلی حکومت سے کسی بھی قسم کی گفتگو یا مذاکرات بے فائدہ ہیں۔ فارم 47 کی اس جعلی حکومت نے پہلے ہی ہمارے دو مہینے ضائع کیے۔ اس حکومت کا جھوٹے اقتدار سے چمٹے رہنے کے سوا کوئی مقصد نہیں۔ ان کے اختیار میں کچھ بھی نہیں ہے۔ یہ وہ حکومت ہے جس نے پاکستان کی اخلاقی اقدار اور آئینی ڈھانچے کو بالکل تباہ کر کے رکھ دیا ہے۔

جمہوریت کا قیام دو بنیادی اصولوں پر ہوتا ہے ایک قانون کی بالادستی اور دوسرا اخلاقیات۔ مجھ پر اور تحریکِ انصاف سے منسلک دیگر لوگوں پر جس طرح کے بے بنیاد سیاسی مقدمے بنائے گئے ہیں، جبری اغوا اور گمشدگیوں کے بعد پارٹی ممبران سے تحریکِ انصاف چھوڑنے سے متعلق پریس کانفرنس کروائی گئی اس سے ثابت ہے کہ ملک میں قانون کی بالادستی ہرگز نہیں بلکہ جنگل کا راج قائم ہے۔

اخلاقیات کی پستی کا یہ عالم ہے کہ چیف الیکشن کمشنر اور دیگر ممبران الیکشن کمیشن اپنی مقررہ مدت پوری کرنے کے باوجود عہدوں پر براجمان ہیں۔ متنازعہ آئینی بینچ کا قیام، اسکے فیصلے اور کیسز کی ہینڈلنگ سے اخلاقیات کی گراوٹ ثابت ہے۔ قانون اور اخلاقیات کی عدم موجودگی میں جمہوریت ہرگز نہیں پنپ سکتی، یہ معاشرے کی تباہی کا باعث ہے اور ہمارے لیے لمحہ فکریہ ہے۔

مجھ پر ہر طرح کی سختی کی جا رہی ہے۔ میرے بچوں سے میری بات تک نہیں کروائی جاتی ، میرے اہل خانہ سے ملاقات کئی کئی دن روک لی جاتی ہے اور میرے معالج تک کو مجھ سے ملنے نہیں دیا جاتا اس کے باوجود میں اپنی قوم کی خاطر ڈٹ کر کھڑا رہوں گا-“

نون لیگ کی کٹھ پتلی حکومت سے کسی بھی قسم کی گفتگو یا مذاکرات بے فائدہ ہیں۔ اس حکومت کا جھوٹے اقتدار سے چمٹے رہنے کے سوا کوئی مقصد نہیں۔ ان کے اختیار میں کچھ بھی نہیں ہے۔ یہ وہ حکومت ہے جس نے پاکستان کی اخلاقی اقدار اور آئینی ڈھانچے کو بالکل تباہ کر کے رکھ دیا ہے۔ پاکستان کا جو تہذیبی و اخلاقی ڈھانچہ تھوڑا بہت قائم تھا، وہ ان لوگوں نے پچھلے دو سال میں مکمل طور پر تباہ کر دیا ہے۔ چور ہونا یا ڈاکو ہونا اس وقت اقتدار کی علامت بن چکا ہے۔

آج کے حالات ایسے ہیں کہ اگر آپ “امر بالمعروف” پر یقین رکھتے ہیں، اگر آپ نیکی اور سچائی کا راستہ دکھاتے ہیں، تو آپ جرم کے مرتکب سمجھے جاتے ہیں۔ آج کے پاکستان میں جن کو این آر او ملتا ہے، وہی سب سے بڑے عہدوں پر براجمان ہوتے ہیں۔ جو چوروں کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں، انہیں معافی ملتی ہے- لیکن جو سچ کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں، وہ جیل میں ڈالے جا رہے ہیں۔

جب عوام 9 مئی کو ظلم کے خلاف سڑکوں پر پرامن احتجاج کے لیے نکلی، تو ان کے ساتھ کیا سلوک کیا گیا؟ ڈاکٹر یاسمین راشد اور عندلیب عباس دونوں ایک ہی گاڑی میں سوار تھیں لیکن ایک نے پریس کانفرنس کر کے سچ کے خلاف مؤقف اختیار کیا، وہ آج باہر ہے، اور جو سچ کے ساتھ کھڑی رہیں، وہ آج بھی جیل میں ہیں۔

شاہ محمود قریشی پر بھی شدید دباؤ تھا کہ وہ سائفر کیس میں میرے خلاف بیان دیں، لیکن جب انہوں نے سچ کا ساتھ دیا، تو وہ آج اس کیس سے بری ہونے کے باوجود بھی جیل میں ہیں۔ اگر وہ جھوٹ کے ساتھ ہوتے، تو آزاد گھوم رہے ہوتے۔

الیکشن کی لوٹ پر کھڑی فارم 47 حکومت کے بلند و بانگ کھوکھلے دعووں کے باوجود پاکستان کی معیشت ڈوب رہی ہے۔ ملک میں سرمایہ کاری نہ ہونے کے برابر ہے، نوجوانوں کے لیے نوکریوں کا حصول ناممکن ہے۔ معیشت کی بدحالی دراصل ملک میں آئین و قانون کے نظام کی تباہی کا نتیجہ ہے۔

جھوٹ اور فریب پر مبنی یہ نظام آزاد عدلیہ کا سامنا نہیں کر سکتا۔ 8 فروری 2024 کے الیکشن میں عوام کے ووٹ کو لوٹنے کے بعد مسلسل عدالتی نظام پر ایک حملہ جاری ہے۔ چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم اسی حملے کی ایک کڑی ہے جسے اعظم تاررڑ اوراحسن بھون نے نون لیگ اور اسٹیبلشمنٹ کی “فیکٹری” میں مینوفیکچر کیا- اس کا مقصد تھا کہ ایک قاضی فائز عیسٰی کی جگہ کئی قاضی فائز پیدا کرو، ہر کورٹ میں ایک قاضی فائز بٹھاؤ اور پورا انصاف کا نظام دفن کر دو-

اقتدار پر قابض ناسمجھ لوگ جھوٹے نظام کو بچانے کے لیے ملک کے ہر علاقے میں پاکستانیوں پر ظلم کر رہے ہیں۔ چادر اور چار دیواری کو پامال کر دیا گیا ہے۔ سیاسی مخالفین، بالخصوص پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے کارکنوں کی اغواء کاری اور ان پر تشدد روزمرہ کا معمول بن چکا ہے۔

حضرت علی کا مشہور قول ہے: کفر کا نظام چل سکتا ہے، مگر ظلم کا نظام نہیں چل سکتا۔
پاکستان میں رائج ظلم، جبر اور نانصافی کا نظام بھی انشأللہ ذیادہ دیر نہیں چلے گا!

“Loss of human life in Pahlgam incident is deeply disturbing and tragic. I extend my deepest condolences to the victims and their families.

When the False Flag Palwama Operation incident happened, we offered to extend all-out cooperation to India but India failed to produce any concrete evidence. As I predicted in 2019, the same is happening again after Pahlgam incident. Instead of introspection and investigation, Modi Sarkar is again placing the blame on Pakistan.

Being a country of 1.5 billion people, India needs to act responsibly instead of messing with a region already known as “nuclear flashpoint.” Peace is our priority but it should not be mistaken as cowardice. Pakistan has got all the capabilities to give a befitting response to any Indian misadventure, as My Government, backed by whole nation, did in 2019.

I have always emphasized the importance of the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination, as guaranteed by United Nations resolutions.

I have also been highlighting the fact that India led by RSS ideology is a grave threat, not only to the region but beyond it. Indian oppression in Kashmir, intensified after the illegal abrogation of Article 370, has further fueled the Kashmiri people’s desire for freedom.

Sadly, the nation has been divided by an illegitimate government imposed through fraudulent Form-47 results. And yet, ironically, Narendra Modi’s aggression has united the people of Pakistan in one voice against Indian hostility. While we reject this fake regime, we stand firmly as one Pakistani nation and strongly condemn Modi's war-mongering and his dangerous ambitions that threaten regional peace.

Needless to say, to win the war against an external enemy, the nation must first be united. It is high time to put a halt to all actions that are further polarizing the nation. The state’s excessive focus on political victimisation at this critical time is deepening internal divisions and undermining the nation’s collective ability to confront external threats.

It is naive to expect any strong stance from self-serving figures like Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari. They will never speak out against India because their illegal wealth and business interests lie abroad. They profit from foreign investments, and to protect those financial interests, they remain silent in the face of foreign aggression and baseless allegations against Pakistan. Their fear is simple: that Indian lobbies might freeze their offshore assets if they dare to speak the truth.”

Our objections to the 26th Constitutional Amendment have proven entirely justified. It is a matter of grave concern that Pakistan’s justice system stands utterly crippled. Justice is not only being denied; it is being deliberately obstructed. Our cases are not even being placed on the court roster. The Constitution and the rule of law are being trampled with impunity, and judicial decisions are treated with open contempt. This institutionalized lawlessness has devastated investor confidence.

I have directed our legal committee and senior legal experts in Parliament to hold an urgent and comprehensive press conference. They must expose how every single concern we raised regarding the 26th Amendment is now unfolding precisely as we warned. Furthermore, I have instructed PTI’s Secretary General, Salman Akram Raja, to immediately draft and dispatch a detailed letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan. This letter will outline the blatant injustices being inflicted upon my supporters, my family, and Bushra Bibi. The Chief Justice holds a constitutional obligation to act as the guardian of the rule of law. If he chooses silence in the face of such brazen illegality, who will be held accountable when the entire legal framework collapses? It is outrageous that my party members, my legal counsel, and even my family are being denied access to speak with me.

The events of May 9th (2023) are being exploited to target PTI through politically motivated prosecutions. CCTV footage that could exonerate the innocent has been deliberately concealed or destroyed. Since day one, I have demanded that the footage be made public to expose the truth and hold the actual perpetrators accountable.

In their campaign to dismantle PTI, the ruling regime has systematically destroyed Pakistan’s institutions. The judiciary, Parliament, police, and investigative bodies like the FIA have all been stripped of credibility and functionality.

The recent surge in terrorist attacks and the loss of innocent lives is tragic and unacceptable. My government had identified this threat early on and initiated critical diplomatic engagement with the Afghan government to stem the tide of terrorism. The illegitimate regime that seized power through manipulation, failed to treat the threat with the seriousness it demands, and delayed essential dialogue with Kabul. Today, this negligence has once again plunged the nation into the flames of terror. The KP government must be granted full authority to engage with Afghanistan, as the province is bearing the brunt of the violence.

I have made it categorically clear that there will be no progress on the Mines and Minerals Bill, unless Ali Amin Gandapur, our senior allies, and KP’s leadership provide me with a comprehensive briefing. Until then, this bill is going nowhere.

The escalating terrorism in KP has become a national emergency. Every day, our brave police officers are targeted and martyred. Yet, shockingly, the media remains largely indifferent. This is not merely a provincial issue—it is the federal government’s constitutional and moral duty to protect every Pakistani life and restore security across the nation.

The handling of Afghan refugees is a disaster. The current government's hostile and shortsighted policy towards Afghanistan is only stoking resentment and fueling more violence.
